Acorn Woodpecker and Baby

Daddy took this photo. Wish I had been there. I would have eaten all the birdies all up. It is a picture of a daddy woodpecker feeding his baby.

Me in the Cupboard and a Bunny

Mommy cleaned out the cupboard today and I wanted to help. Suddenly I spotted a bunny rabbit and Mommy videotaped it for me, so I can watch it over and over. I love helping my Mommy.

Carl DeMaio Picnic

Mommy went to a picnic with Carl DeMaio at a park in San Diego. She said it was very pretty there. Here are pictures of the park and Carl DeMaio. Oh, did I mention Mr. DeMaio is running for Mayor of San Diego?

I think Mommy is going to vote for him.

Synchronized Swimming

Synchronized swimming is a sport. Mommy saw some synchronized swimmers today when she went to a park. I think they are so beautiful. I hate swimming myself, but I like to watch. Here they are.

Heather's Graduation

Mommy went to her friend's granddaughter's graduation at Cal State San Marcos this year.

And the proud graduate!

Congratulations, Heather! You go girl!

And congratulations to all the graduates of the Class of 2011.

I graduate in two more years! I go to The College of the Holy Cat.

Murder on the High Seas

Mommy and Daddy went to the Wild Animal Park the other day. Mommy said there didn't appear to be any fish in the pond and so the herons had to find other things to eat. Ewwww!

Poor little duckling!

Sailor Kissing Nurse

Alfred Eisenstaedt took one of the most famous photographs ever taken. He took it at the end of World War II. There is a statue of this famous photograph and it is in downtown San Diego right on the harbor next to the USS Midway. Here is the statue.

To show you how big it is, here is a photo of my daddy standing under the statue.

And another photo of the statue and the harbor.

And here is a photo of a little bit of the Midway.

Mommy and Daddy promised to take me next time.

Molly

My little friend Molly died today. I used to love to scratch her nose and I will miss not being able to do that. Mommy is crying. I think Mommy loved Molly a lot. I think I loved her a lot, too.
