Memorial Day Weekend

Mommy and Daddy took Mommy Sarah to Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery today. Daddy Ted is buried there. Here are some pictures Mommy took. Wish I could have gone. It looks beautiful.

A Birdie

Mommy and Daddy went to Doggie Park the other day and brought back many pictures of the place. One of the pictures Mommy took wasn't of a doggie but of a birdie. Mommy said it is a Bullock's Oriole. And guess what else I see in the picture? Take a good look. The birdie has dinner!

Can You Believe This Car?

Mommy saw this funny looking car yesterday parked in a parking lot at work. Mommy was so amazed by it she just had to take pictures for me. Now you can see this crazy looking car and tell me what you think of it.

It Rained in San Diego Yesterday

Yesterday it rained in San Diego and it's supposed to rain again today. It is rare that it rains at this time of year in Southern California. I simply can't get over it. Mommy is good to me though and doesn't make me go outside.

Mommy bought a new umbrella and brought it in yesterday to dry it out. I love the pretty colors.

Arts and Crafts

Mommy went to another arts and crafts fair today. It was held in Escondido and is the second largest arts and crafts fair in California. Mommy's poor little feet hurt. Oh no! Mommy bought covers for her small appliances. The one for the can opener is too small, so Mommy is going to ask the lady to make another for her and swap it. She is also going to ask her to make matching pot holders and placemats. Our kitchen is finally beginning to look like something. We've been here over 18 months now. I love moving. It is so much fun to explore new places.

Arts and Crafts Fair

Mommy likes to go to arts and crafts fairs. She and Daddy went to one at the Bernardo Winery yesterday and today.

She told me there are a lot of things for sale there and a lot of people. She bought some presents for people who are graduating from college this year. I know them.

Mommy says a lot of people bring their doggies.  Ewww.

Bernardo Winery is very old. Mommy loves to take pictures of the place.

Mommy bought such pretty presents. They are a surprise though so I can't show them to you. Here is something Mommy bought for herself.

She's planning on wearing it to the first day of the races in Del Mar. She is going to look sooo funny. Mommy doesn't worry about what she looks like. Mommy always has such fun! I wish I could go, but Mommy is afraid a horse might step on me.

Sick to my Tummy

I thought it might be fun if I tossed my cookies on Mommy's slipper. Mommy didn't think it was fun at all.

She said, "Eww, gross!"

Meggie's Mom

This is Meggie's mom. Meggie is staying with her daddy for a few days while I take care of a few things. When Meggie returns, she will continue to write her blog.

A New Bridge in San Diego

We have a new pedestrian bridge in San Diego. Mommy and Daddy took a walk on it the other day and took some pictures to share with me and you. It's a beautiful multi-million dollar bridge. I think I would like to take a walk on it some day.

And this is a light fixture which Mommy thought was pretty.

I think it kind of looks like a whale's tail.
