And the Earth Moved

Yesterday morning I was doing kitty things around the house when suddenly I felt the floor beneath my feet begin to move. This is scary for someone as little as me. Later I heard the pretty blonde lady on the TV say that we had had an earthquake. So that is what you call it. I have felt this before, but never knew what it was. I always used to call it earthmove, but the correct word is earthquake. I learn something new every day.
